Meet Dr. Blecha

Above all else, Dr. Blecha is dedicated towards achieving two objectives: precision and compassion. To accomplish the goal of precision, Dr. Blecha is constantly investigating, researching, and utilizing the most current scientific advances in the field of oral, maxillofacial, and dental implant surgery. Dr. Blecha routinely travels across the country to attend educational lectures and training seminars on all aspects of his field. Additionally, in 1990, Dr. Blecha founded the Dupage Dental Implant Study Club, providing three to four lectures per year to local dental professionals. Dr. Blecha believes that continuous education is an essential element in providing the finest dental care possible, and, as a result, is able to not only utilize the most modern technologies and procedures, but also to make an informed decision on which technique and procedure is right for each individual.

To accomplish the goal of compassion Dr. Blecha strives to create an environment in which patients are well informed, calm, and comfortable. Dr. Blecha believes that informing patients about all aspects of their individual case is not only necessary to ensure that patients make a well-informed decision concerning the best method of care, but also necessary to produce a calm and comfortable experience. Furthermore, Dr. Blecha has created an office in which compassion is considered paramount. Dr. Blecha’s staff is comprised of highly competent and compassionate individuals who strive to create the finest patient experience possible. From registration to post-operative care, Dr. Blecha and his staff are always available to assist patients in a manner that suits that individual.

Dr. Blecha was born in Hinsdale, Illinois. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Loyola University in Chicago. Dr. Blecha went to Loyola School of Dentistry in Maywood, Illinois for his Doctorate in Dental Surgery, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. After earning his DDS degree, Dr. Blecha then completed his residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Blecha founded his current practice in Naperville in 1981. He successfully completed his board examination from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1984. This is an optional examination not required for state licensure but as in the medical field indicates a higher level of academic knowledge.

As a dedicated husband and father of five, Dr. Blecha has many interests outside of dentistry. He enjoys baseball, golf, and music. Dr. Blecha has also volunteered his time and surgical care multiple times on mission trips through St. Thomas The Apostle Church to Duchity, Haiti.
