Before Your General Anesthesia Sedation

No food or drink (including water) for 8 hours before your procedure.
A responsible adult must:
- Accompany you to the office
- Stay during the procedure
- Drive home afterward
You should take regularly prescribed medications with a small sip of water.
Wear loose-fitting clothing with short sleeves and low-heeled shoes (gym shoes are ideal).
Do not wear lotions, lipstick, perfumes, or nail polish on the day of surgery.
Remove contact lenses, jewelry, and dentures before the procedure.
If you are experiencing any illness (fever, sore throat, stomach or bowel issues), contact the office.
Post-op instructions will be covered on the day of your surgery.
