Pre-Operative Instructions: Before an Implant or Bone Graft

Your prescriptions will be ready at your pharmacy the day before surgery.

• Antibiotic Instructions:

  • Take the prescribed antibiotic 1 hour before your surgery.
  • Starting the day after surgery, take 1 capsule, 3 times a day, until all are finished. Or as directed.

• Mouth Rinse (Chlorhexidine / Peridex):

  • Begin using the rinse 1 day after surgery.
  • Use it twice daily for 7 days, or as directed.
